the tuff city skate contest is an annual SKATEBOARD CONTEST, established in 2005 & hosted in tofino, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA at the tofino skatepark.
We offer a contest format that is accessible for all ages and abilities to be able to participate.
annually we see over 70 competitors and 500 visitors throughout our single day of skateboardinG!

Tofino is at the tip of the esowista peninsula, within the traditional lands of the tla-o-qui-aht first nations and their tribal parks.

Novice
(Men's & women's)

- 5 minute jam session with assistance if needed.
- max 8 skaters per jam
- no podium, all participants awarded

- 1 x 1 minute run per competitor to qualify
- top 6 move to finals
- 2 x 1 minute runs per competitor. best of two scores.
- all finalists awarded

- creativity
- technical difficulty

- big tricks
